How far in advance should I request transport?
Request your quote as early as possible. Some regional moves can be arranged on short notice, but availability depends on the route, vehicle, equipment and preferred pickup date.
How is my transport quote calculated?
Pricing depends on distance, vehicle size and weight, running condition, pickup and delivery access, timing and current route availability.
How long will pickup and delivery take?
Fly Transport will provide pickup and delivery windows after reviewing your route. Traffic, weather, auction release times and other operating conditions may affect the schedule.
Is my vehicle insured during transport?
Fly Transport is fully insured. The vehicle condition is documented at pickup and reviewed again at delivery. Customers should also keep their own vehicle insurance active.
How should I prepare my vehicle?
Remove valuables and personal belongings, leave no more than about one-quarter tank of fuel, provide the keys and disclose any leaks, warning lights, starting problems or modifications. The vehicle should be clean enough for a condition inspection.
Can I leave personal items inside the vehicle?
Up to 150 pounds total may be accepted with advance disclosure and approval. Approved items must be secured in the trunk or cargo area below the window line. If Fly Transport approves more than 150 pounds before loading, a flat $200 additional fee applies. Unsafe, illegal, valuable, unsecured or overweight items may be refused, and vehicle cargo insurance may not cover personal belongings.
Can you transport a vehicle that does not run?
Possibly. Tell us before requesting the quote. Non-running vehicles may require special loading equipment, sufficient access and additional planning, which can affect price and availability.
Do you pick up from dealerships and auctions?
Yes. Provide the dealership or auction name, buyer or release number, gate pass if required, pickup hours and the receiving contact information.
Is door-to-door delivery guaranteed?
Pickup and delivery are arranged as close to each address as safely and legally possible. Narrow streets, low branches, restricted roads or limited turning space may require a nearby meeting point.
Do you offer Snowbird transport to and from Florida?
Yes. Fly Transport offers seasonal open vehicle transport to and from Florida. Availability and pricing depend on the specific route, vehicle and preferred dates.
